I know, you know, God knows

I know You know God knows

Whilst on the phone with my bff, I came up with this quote, "I know, you know, God knows", and I thought "hey, I should make a pattern out of it" because a lot of people can probably relate to it. The quote came about because we kept getting involved in sticky situations. But really, what matters is that I know, you know, and God knows {the truth}

Pattern can be found in my etsy shop.
It was stitched over two on 28ct evenweave linen (hand-dyed) with dmc floss.

Why is it so gloomy?

Why, oh why? I really can't stand gloomy weather! One day, or maybe even three days I can stand, but not a whole week! I can't help but feel grumpy/sad in this overcast state- weather can really make me or break me. I've made a mental note to self a long while back that I will have to live in a sunny place. Okay- my rant is over, now on with the real news! ^^;

I present to you "The Sampler Lady" framed with a mat. Excuse the weird angle- I was trying to escape the glare/reflections.

Excuse all the photos, they are a bit dull because of the overcast day

my grapes are growing
My grapes are steadily growing. They haven't sweetened yet cause the squirrels would've gotten to them. We're planning on covering them soon from their claws.

tomatoes are growing
The seeds from last year sprouted this tomato plant.

The past week...

My brother graduated last Thursday! The graduation ceremony was a let-down from my year, but the fireworks at the end made up for everything.

Throughout half of the ceremony I was waving like a lunatic to some kid that turned out to be not my brother, but a stranger (I was wondering why he wasn't waving back). He was looking at me throughout the entire ceremony, probably trying to figure out who I was. Finally, after an hour, he waved back to me, LOL.

Oing! :O

I was happily stitching away...
I was on a streak...
and I knew I could finish it!

and then...
I ran out of floss!
I looked at the clock and it read 6:30 PM (it was a Sunday and Michaels closes at 7PM), I jumped in my car and drove like a mad woman to Michaels. Okay- maybe not a mad woman, but you get the point. I ran to the floss section, and they had everything, everything but the DMC 420. Hah. Then I started scanning the whole floss section to make sure it wasn't misplaced. Sigh. Just my luck.

Love ya Edward!

my brother
Edward's baby photo

My little brother is graduating from highschool already! We're five years apart, but he's my bodyguard, sometimes an older brother, and sometimes like my dad. We fight like crazy, but I also know that I can count on him to be there for me, always. He is such a cutie and a softie and I just love him so~ :) Time really flies, and I can't believe it's already time for him to go to college.

Edward, I wish you the best in college. Study hard, play hard, and continue to grow in God. And would you lay off the Sriracha sauce please?
